About Rebekah

Hey all,

I’m Rebekah (the one who writes). I am a Peace Corps Volunteer in Macedonia, where I am part of the teaching English as a foreign language program.

I’ve had a number of titles before adding PCV, including student, baker, construction worker, teacher, and most recently, journalist. Other titles include adventurer, feminist, aunt, and sports fan.

I’ve studied and worked in journalism and education, and I’m passionate about both.

I have lived in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and as of Sept. 13, 2014, Macedonia.

I have insatiable wanderlust. I’m also one of those weird people who enjoys running. Part of that could be because the only thing I like more than cooking is eating. I would have been a great hobbit.

I’m a weird combination of laid back, spontaneous and obsessively organized. It’s very easy to make me laugh and easier to make me smile. I also have a huge soft spot for dogs and the elderly (they’re living libraries!).

I love making lists, but making them about myself is weird, so that’s enough for now.
